According to a March 23, 2012 piece in The Charleston Post & Courier, the 2010 Census revealed that Dorchester County, South Carolina was the fastest-growing of all forty-six (46) counties in the Palmetto State; while Charleston County grew by a modest thirteen percent (13%), Dorchester County eclipsed that by more than three-fold – with population growth increasing by forty-two percent (42%).

During that same ten-year period, from 2000 to 2010, Dorchester County was rated as one of the 100 fastest growing counties in the entire nation.  The county is also home to historic Summerville, the Flower Town in the Pines, and it is in Summerville where you can find Lowcountry Divorce & Family Law.
